Ballarat and District Law Association Member
To become a BDLA Member you must:
(a) be an Australian lawyer living or working within the Ballarat region (refer to Schedule 1 of the BDLA Rules); and
(b) be a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Ballarat and District Law Association Associate Member
To become a BDLA Associate Member you must:
(a) be undertaking a course of study, training or work experience to qualify that person for admission as an Australian Lawyer and living or working within the Ballarat region (refer to Schedule 1 of the BDLA Rules); OR
(b) be an Australian Lawyer (not in the Ballarat region); OR
(c) be a member of the Victorian Bar; OR
(d) have other qualifications, experience or connection to the legal profession that the BDLA Committee determined appropriate.
Young Lawyers
Members under the age of 35 or who have been in practise for less than five years may choose to have their name added to the Young Lawyers database. If you meet the eligibility criteria and wish to be added to the Young Lawyers database, please advise us in the additional information field or alternatively by email.
